im just trying to price this up just need help
what else what i need apart from the engine, gearbox, ecu

i know you would need engine mounts to get the engine to fit but which ones?

GS300 engine mounts work but the opposite way round I think..........You also need about £10K

As with Dave,

Lots and lots of money.

engine, gearbox, possibly stock ecu to run alongside the standard one for a basic setup.

then the custom work. youd have to price that up with whoevers doing it.

Your best to find somewhere willing to take it on for a set price before they start.

right i could get a good condition 2jzgte with the getrag v160 6 speed gear box and ecu and all the wireing for £3000.
now i am going to contact the person whos going to do it and get a price in written

will look for gs300 mounts

the gearbox alone goes fro 3k to my knowledge...for whats its worth go Dave reads route..you'll get 360 + bhp and it will work...........

Agree with Dave here, your getting a good price if the gearbox and engine are in good nick.

I would buy the eng and 'box. Sell it for what it is worth and put the money towards Dave Reads conversion - as D/E says it works very well.

hhmmmmm just love the way you put a price up, it all comes down to if he is goin g to do this or if he takes it some where to get done, if only you knew how much my V8 cost to do

im going to take it somewhere to get it done
but im just looking at a figure as i am going to get done hopefully summer next year so i know how much to save up
