A customer is offering his WRX for £1200, bargin but what is there to look for on an old car like his, I think it is a "T" reg. I wouldn't mind it as a 2nd car run around.

Insurance might be worth a call before going any further.

yes and got it for £600 as the intercooler needed replacing had a golf ball sized hole in it. Insurance £390 (A-Flux, I really meant it when I said SKY will loose my business for messing me around) a bit steep but OK for a run around whilst I decide what to do with the LEX, keep/sell/convert to LHD (an interesting project)???.

Why convert the Lex to LHD?
thought you wanted a Diesel?

Yea an oil burner will be needed BUT if it can be converted to LHD for a small cost I'll keep it and get a Diesel for work etc.,
So many options at the moment just don't know what to do to be honest. The Scooby is a **** car though well worn and abused, a good polish and repair of some interior bits and onto Ebay I think.

Back on topic.....
It will be on Ebay soon, the interior needs COMPLETELY refurbishing, a dog has treated it like a chew toy, body is OK, engine good, just replaced intercooler with a 2nd hand one, I think the turbo has survived but time will tell on that one. It is pretty slow compared with my Lex, but still pulls OK.
